My Goal

To raise funds to travel to the USA to compete in the International Federation of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu (IBJJF) World Championship (No-Gi). My goal is to become one of very few Australians to win the prestigious title of world champion, this is a very rare feat for any person outside of the USA and Brazil.

Accomplishments

• 2024 IBJJF European Championship silver & bronze medalist (blue belt)
• 2024 IBJJF World Championship double bronze medalist (blue belt)
• 2024 IBJJF Pan Pacific Championship gold and silver medalist (purple belt)
• 2025 Australian National Championship triple gold, and silver medalist (purple belt)

Costs Involved

Brazilian Jiu Jitsu is an up and coming sport with its popularity growing rapidly, however it is still extremely underfunded which makes it very difficult to travel to the USA to compete in the IBJJF No-Gi World Championship.

This year the championship will be held from the 11th-13th of December in Las Vegas.

The costs involved in competing include but are not limited to:

• Flights
• Accommodation
• Competition fees
• Training fees
• Other expenses such as car hire/fuel/food
