ABOUT Kaizin Castle

Highland Park, QLD

Hi, my name is Kaizin. I’m a dedicated young water polo athlete from the Gold Coast, travelling regularly to Brisbane for training and competition.

Over the past few years, I’ve been fortunate enough to represent Queensland at events in the U13 and U14 divisions, at club, state and National level. At 15, I was selected into the NSC Queensland program and represented Queensland at the National State champs for U16 in Canberra bringing home a sliver in a nail biting penalty shootout with NSW, it was there that I had the honour of being selected as part of the Australian Under 16 squad, which has been an incredible step in my sporting journey.

This Year I get represent Queensland again, this time at the U18 Division One National Water Polo Competition in Wellington, New Zealand. Competing up an age division against some of the strongest junior athletes in New Zealand is a huge opportunity for my development and another important step in my long-term goal of one day representing Australia at senior level.

Water polo at this level requires a significant commitment. I regularly travel around 2-3 a day for training in Brisbane up to 4 days a week, balancing school, training, swim sessions, and recovery. It’s a demanding schedule, but one I’m fully committed to because of how much I love the sport and the goals I’m working towards.

This fundraising page has been created to help cover the significant costs involved in elite-level water polo, including travel, accommodation, competition fees, and associated expenses. Like many high-performance sports, the yearly costs can reach tens of thousands of dollars, and any support helping my achieve my goals greatly appreciated.

My ultimate goal is to one day represent my country, and every opportunity like this brings me one step closer. Thank you for supporting my journey, whether through a donation or by sharing this page—it genuinely makes a difference.
