ABOUT Karen A Shannon

Belgrave, VIC

Harlie Shannon is a determined 10-year-old from Tecoma with big dreams of one day representing Australia at the Brisbane 2032 Olympics. She’s already making her mark—placing 1st at the 2024 Little Athletics State Championships, 2nd in 2025, and holding the junior 5km course record at Lilydale Lake parkrun with an incredible time of 19:31.

Harlie has been selected to represent Victoria at two upcoming national events:

  • Athletics Victoria Nationals – 23rd August (Ballarat)
  • School Sport Australia Cross Country – 7th September (Queensland)

These are self-funded events, and your support will help cover travel and competition costs. Every dollar raised brings Harlie one step closer to her dream. Thank you for supporting this amazing young athlete!
