Hi, I’m Kat, a passionate barebow field archer working towards representing Australia at the World Archery Field Championships in Yankton, South Dakota, USA, in September-October 2026.

Archery has become more than just a sport for me, it’s become a huge part of who I am. 

Archery has taught me focus, resilience, determination, and confidence. Over the years I’ve dedicated countless hours to training, competing, and improving my skills in the hope of earning the opportunity to compete on the world stage.

Alongside training and competition, I am also homeschooling my three beautiful children, balancing family life, education, and the demands of pursuing high-level sport. While the journey can be challenging, it has made this dream even more meaningful and rewarding to chase. The example I’m able to show my children about hard work, perseverance, and following your dreams is something truly invaluable to my family. 

Being selected to attend the World Championships is an incredible honour, but travelling internationally to compete comes with significant costs. I am raising funds to help cover expenses including flights, accommodation, food, equipment, insurance, and training costs leading up to the event.
