A couple of years ago, competing on the world stage didn’t feel realistic.

Now, I’ve been invited to represent Australia at the 2026 Natural Strongman Worlds.

I’m a Geelong based strongman competing in the Men’s Open division, and over the past few years, I’ve worked my way through local and national competitions, improving with each one. That’s led to a Victorian GP Series win and a 2nd place finish at Naturally Aspirated Nationals.

Strongman is something I genuinely care about, but opportunities like this come with real costs — especially as an amateur athlete where everything is self-funded.

Estimated costs:

• Flights to Scotland: $3,000–$4,000
• Accommodation: $1,500–$2,000
• Competition fees: $300–$500
• Travel, food, and prep: $1,000+
