The 2025 Junior International Cup is set to take place in Los Angeles from June 18 to 22, bringing together elite youth flag football teams from around the globe. Organised by USA Football, this annual tournament features Under 15 and Under 17 divisions for both boys and girls, with participation from countries such as the United States, Canada, Mexico, Japan, Panama, and newcomers Australia, New Zealand, and South Korea. This event serves as a critical platform for young athletes to showcase their skills in Olympic-style 5-on-5 flag football, aligning with the sport's debut at the 2028 Los Angeles Olympic Games.

Participating in such a major event is a huge honor — but it also comes with significant costs. Each athlete is responsible for covering their travel expenses, accommodation, team fees, uniforms, and equipment, which can add up to several thousand dollars.
