My name is Lachlan Dodd Shipsey and I’m an amateur boxer from Sydney’s Inner West representing Australia in the 50kg division. I train out of Killa Boxing Marrickville and boxing has become my full-time focus and passion.

Over the past few years I’ve worked my way through the amateur ranks, becoming a multiple-time NSW State Champion, Australian National Champion, and earning opportunities to represent Australia internationally in countries including Hungary and Azerbaijan.

Competing at this level comes with major costs — training fees, recovery, nutrition, travel, accommodation, equipment, and international competition expenses all add up quickly. Like many athletes chasing elite sport dreams, balancing finances while training full-time can be difficult.

This fundraiser is to help support my journey as I continue pursuing international success and work toward my long-term goal of becoming one of the best boxers in the world and representing Australia at the Olympic Games.
