Hello, my name is Lachlan Jackson and for the past 14 years I have been part of the Australian Deaf Basketball Team, the Goannas. We are currently preparing for the Deaflympics in Tokyo, Japan. For past year I have been training with Newcastle Falcons, attending self funded camps every month in Melbourne in addition to my usual training and full time work schedule. The commitment and focus the team has instilled for the Deaflympics has been bar none. We are in an exciting phase where we are determined to bring it all come game time!

While it is always an honor to represent Australia, it comes at a significant cost. I am personally responsible for covering costs such as flights, uniforms, registration fees and accommodation which is in excess of $8,000 for the Deaflympics. I am asking for your support to get to Japan. Whatever the contribution, small or large, share or like it is appreciated.
