Hi, I'm Lachie, an 11-year-old boxer from Darwin in the Northern Territory.

I started boxing in 2023 because I wanted to have fun, get fit and spend more time with my older brother, who also boxes. What started as something we did together quickly became something I love and look forward to every day.

In 2026, I began training for competition boxing and have worked hard to improve my skills, confidence, discipline and fitness.

In March 2026, I won the NT Titles and in May 2026, I was selected to represent the Northern Territory at the 2026 Australian Schools Championships in Brisbane.

To qualify for Nationals, I needed to complete three sanctioned bouts, which I achieved by competing in:

Now it's time for the next challenge.

Next Stop: Brisbane – July 8th to 11th 2026

I am raising funds to help cover the costs of attending the Australian Schools Championships, including flights, accommodation, competition fees, uniforms and travel expenses.

Boxing has taught me so much more than just how to fight. It has taught me discipline, resilience, commitment and confidence. It has given me opportunities to travel, make new friends and challenge myself in ways I never thought possible.

Representing the Northern Territory at Nationals is something I am incredibly proud of, and I want to make the most of this opportunity by competing against some of the best young boxers from around Australia, learning from the experience and continuing to grow both inside and outside the ring.

I train hard every week, balance boxing with school and stay committed to reaching my goals. This fundraiser will help make that journey possible.

Any support, big or small, will help me take the next step towards achieving my dreams and proudly represent my family, my club and the Northern Territory on the national stage.
