Laken Eaton has always chased the wind. What started as a boy that loved sailing a sabot has now become a dream of being one of the fastest sailors on water. Laken now is about to take on the world in one of the fastest sailing sports in the world today.

This June he is campaigning to become the under 17 Wing Foil World Champion. At just 15 Laken is the number one under 17 wing foil racer in Australia and New Zealand and is off to the 2026 ENSIS ENGADINWING FORMULA WING YOUTH WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS at Lake Silvaplana in Switzerland.

Laken has the chance of a lifetime and for a young Australian athlete, this opportunity is enormous.

No Australian has ever won a world title in the wing foil discipline.

Laken wants, and is determined, to give it his all to get Australia recognised. But getting a youth athlete from Queensland to Europe with all his gear is expensive.

Travel, equipment, transport, accommodation, his training, coaching - it all adds up quickly.
