At Lane Cove Netball Club, we’re passionate about netball — and we want to share that love with others. Whether you don’t have a team at your school or want to train closer to home, LCNC gives players the chance to play, learn and stay connected through sport.

Netball is one of Australia’s most popular sports and has one of the highest participation rates for young girls. While it’s a sport predominately played by females (for now!), it’s growing fast and evolving with every season. By building awareness in our community and encouraging support from our local community, we’re helping to strengthen the future of women’s sport, fitness and health.

Our mission is to create a positive, inclusive club where every player, coach and umpire can reach their full potential. We value teamwork, sportsmanship and fairness — and we believe netball is as much about confidence, friendships and fun as it is about competition.

Founded in 1987 with just four senior teams, LCNC has grown into one of the North Shore’s most active community clubs, now home to more than 220 players aged 6 to 50+. We’re proud to offer a complete player pathway, from NetSetGO through to senior squads, supported by strong coaching and umpire development programs led by experienced officials.

Every dollar raised goes directly towards keeping registration fees as low as possible for our members. With training set to move to the brand-new Lane Cove Sports & Recreation Centre (Galuwa Recreation Centre) in 2026, fundraising ensures every player can enjoy the new facilities without extra financial pressure.

Run entirely by volunteers, LCNC relies on community support to make it all happen.
