Lara is an amazing young athlete with an unwavering passion for athletics. Her journey is one of dedication, resilience and drive to succeed. Lara continuously pushes her limits to achieve peak performances.

Despite the challenges, Laras enthusiasm and commitment never waver, as she strives to bring pride to her community and serve as a role model for others.

Beyond her athletic prowess, Laras story is one of inspiration and community.

Living in a small county town, Lara needs to travel an hour each way for coaching and occasionally Melbourne. There is not much of an opportunity to compete locally which mean she needs to travel interstate to continue to develop her skills in competitions. Traveling interstate is costly and we are unable to fund this alone. Please continue to support her in chasing her dreams of becoming a Para-Olympian!

The year of 2026 Lara is looking to compete in Brisbane in April, Melbourne and Perth in December.

*Lara was selected to represent Australia at the Virtues World Athletic Championships in Brisbane, October 8th to the 15th.

*Lara set a 200m Virtus World Record placing 1st in both the 200m & the 100m, 2nd in the Long Jump and the 800m

*Lara was finished as the Virtus Youth World Champion.

*Lara has represented Victoria at The Australian National Athletics Track and Field Championships held in Perth in 4th -8th April 2025, competing in the 100m, 200m, 400m, 800m ,1500m and Long Jump Multi Class female events.

*Following Perth Lara represented Victoria at the 2025 Coles National Little Athletic Championships in Adelaide during the 24th-28th of April 2025. Competing in the 100m, 200m, 400m, 800m, Long Jump and Discus Multi Class female events
