We are the Launceston Rugby Union Club – the Tigers, a proud community club with a long history of growing rugby in northern Tasmania. Our teams range from juniors to seniors, men’s and women’s, and we’re united by our passion for the game, teamwork, and community spirit.

Right now, we’re raising funds to expand rugby opportunities for our players by improving training equipment, upgrading club facilities, and proving junior programs to continue the growth of rugby in Launceston.

We care about this because rugby teaches resilience, respect, and belonging. By giving young people a pathway to play, learn, and grow, we strengthen not just our club, but our whole community.

We make this happen through community support, partnerships, and volunteer dedication. Every contribution goes directly toward creating a safe, welcoming environment where rugby can thrive for generations to come.
