Laurel has been selected into the SA Special olympics team for the 2025 Border Challenge in QLD.

This is a huge honour and fantastic opportunity for her to compete in the sport she loves at a National Competition.

"Special Olympics Australia is part of a global movement using the power of sport to build a more inclusive world for people with intellectual disability and/or autism".

For Laurel to have the opportunity to compete with other athletes who are faced with similar challenges will help build her confidence, make friends and reach her potential.

Laurel inspires us every day with her commitment to her training and love of her sport. She dreams of one day being an Olympian and representing her Country. This opportunity brings her one step closer to achieving that dream.

Unfortunately there is no funding assistance to support her to participate so we have set up this page for anyone who may like to make a contribution to show her their support and celebrate her hard work and dedication. The funds raised will support her to travel to QLD and for her uniform costs.
