My Story

Growing up in Australia, ski racing wasn’t the obvious path. With limited snow, few training opportunities, and little national funding, it took a lot of determination to even dream about competing on the world stage. But from the moment I first put on skis, I knew I’d found something I loved. Every run, every small improvement, every race—it all fueled the fire to see how far I could go.

Chasing that dream eventually led me to America, where I attended school and trained full-time to take my skiing to the next level. Those years were about development, growth, and building the foundation I needed to compete internationally.

After that, I made the move to Europe to pursue the sport at a professional level. That’s where the reality of balancing work, training, and travel truly set in—managing everything from coaching and equipment costs to the logistics of racing across the continent. I’ve faced my share of setbacks along the way, including a shoulder injury that tested my patience and determination, but each challenge has only strengthened my commitment.

Last season marked a big step forward as I took on my first full World Cup season, which showed real promise. Racing head-to-head against the best in the world lit a new spark in me, and I am fully committed to this next season—pushing toward qualification for the Winter Olympics and representing Australia on the biggest stage in the sport.

Being an Australian in a sport dominated by well-funded European and North American teams hasn’t been easy. I’ve had to work for every bit of progress—grinding through off-season training, maintaining my own gear, and finding creative ways to keep the dream alive. But I’ve learned that success isn’t just about talent—it’s about grit, consistency, and passion.
