2026 will be my 4th year representing Tasmania in Sports Climbing Youth Nationals. This year i need to travel to Ballina in NSW. I frequently go to the mainland to compete in state titles as I want to challenge myself by climbing with other athletes the same age as me and with similar abilities.

I have already attended the NSW Boulder State Titles and the Victorian State Lead Titles both in March 2026.

Whilst I love experiencing these competitions, I often wish I could have a wider variety of gyms and more climbers in my home state. In January, I attended a training camp in Melbourne as the walls there are so much higher than we have in Hobart. We have 2 gyms in Hobart. Melbourne has lots!
