    ABOUT Lily Short

Support Lily: A Rising Star in Show Jumping!

Lily, a dedicated 16-year-old showjumper from the Sunshine Coast, is already making waves in the equestrian world. Having ridden since she was just two years old, she has achieved significant success, including winning classes at the 2024 Australian Jumping Championships and securing the State Pony Club Championship in 2025. This victory has earned her the opportunity to compete at the National Pony Club Championships in Werribee, Victoria in October 2025. But Lily’s journey doesn’t stop there—she’s determined to return to the Australian Jumping Championships at Boneo Park in November 2025 and to campaign across Victoria in the lead-up, competing in agricultural shows and various showjumping events.

Balancing her passion with her studies, Lily is in Year 10 at Beerwah State School, and also works part-time at Glasshouse Riding School, all while competing at weekends with a team of three horses across Queensland. The travel, training, and competition costs are substantial, and Lily is now seeking the support of both local businesses and individuals to help cover these expenses.
