My name is Lucas Moore and I’m from the Central Coast. I have recently been selected to play in the U/16 Boy’s National Hockey Championship for the NSW Blues.

ABOUT Lucas Moore

Jilliby, NSW

Last year I went away with my Central Coast Team to Orange for the under 16 Boy’s State Championship,

representing The Central Coast. From this Competition I was selected for the NSW State Squad. We travelled

to Western Sydney for trials. This trial had 60 of the best under 16’s boys from all over NSW. That weekend I

trialed for 10 hours.

It was from this trial that Selectors chose 28 boy’s, to make 2 teams, and I was lucky enough to earn a spot.

The upcoming Championship will be held in Hobart at the Hobart Hockey Centre from the 14th April- 21st April

inclusive.

As you can understand, being in this team is not cheap so I am looking for some financial assistance to help

cover these costs. With costs for myself alone include -

Uniforms $500

Accommodation $5000

Flights $600

Hockey NSW Fees $2500

Equipment $500

However, any financial help is greatly appreciated.
