The Lucindale Football, Netball, and Cricket Club recognises the need for improved facilities to accommodate their growing community. To address the current inadequacies, the club plans to construct a new, centralised facility that will serve as a hub for all sporting and community activities. The new facility will include a functions room, changerooms, toilets, showers, storage, a kitchen, canteen, and dedicated areas for children. Additionally, a new playground with secure gates and sun shade will be built, ensuring the safety and enjoyment of young spectators. The existing football clubrooms will be redeveloped into a compliant and accessible four-way changeroom, and the football oval will receive upgraded lighting to meet regulatory standards. The Netball Club will also benefit from a dedicated clubroom with adequate amenities, as well as the construction of three new netball courts with competition-standard lighting and shaded spectator seating. This comprehensive redevelopment project aims to enhance the overall experience for players, officials, and the broader community, making the Lucindale sports facilities more inclusive, accessible, and enjoyable for all.
