My name is Luke Readett, I’m 15 years old, and I’ve been given an incredible opportunity to travel to the United States in 2026 as part of a Cross Country Athletics Tour — representing my school, my town, my country, and my family on an international stage.

Running has become a huge part of my life. I’ve proudly represented my school at state level in cross country, and I’ve also competed in Little Athletics at regional level, where I qualified for state. I train 5–6 days a week to keep improving and pushing myself to be the best athlete I can be.

This tour is more than just a trip — it’s a chance to compete against athletes from around the world, experience different cultures, and grow both as a runner and as a person. From racing in exciting competitions to visiting iconic places like Disneyland and other famous attractions, this is truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience.

To make this dream possible, I am aiming to raise $20,000.

• $16,000 will go towards flights, accommodation, breakfasts, competition fees, and tour experiences.
• The remaining $4,000 will cover travel insurance, passport costs, meals, and other everyday expenses so I can fully take part in everything.
