Matt Ingerman is proudly gearing up to represent Australia at the 2026 Canoe Sprint Masters World Championships in Nova Scotia, Canada.

A lifelong paddler, Matt first wore the green and gold at the 1994 World Junior Sprint Championships and has competed at a national level for many years. He is also a life member of the Wynnum Redlands Canoe Club in QLD, recognised for more than 25 years of dedicated coaching.

Matt has always been the steady hand behind so many paddlers’ success — cheering them on, pushing them to chase big goals, and helping them reach national and international regattas. Now, as he commits to the hard training ahead, our community has a chance to cheer him on in return.
