What I’m Raising Funds For

I’m raising funds to cover the costs of playing wheelchair basketball at the state level as a regional athlete. All support goes towards travel, accommodation, competition fees, attending development opportunities, and keeping my sports wheelchair maintained. Many of my development opportunities are over 6 hours away, so travel is a big part of making my dream possible.

Why I Care

Basketball isn’t just a game for me. it’s freedom, challenge, and purpose beyond my disability. Living with Spinal Muscular Atrophy (a progressive muscle-weakening disease), every game is a chance to push my limits, grow stronger, and chase dreams bigger than any country kid could imagine.

How I Plan to Make It Happen

I train hard, travel long distances, and give everything I’ve got on court. With access to competitions, camps, and coaching, I can keep improving, get noticed for state selections, and work toward representing Australia one day.

Who I Am

I’m Max, a NSW/VIC border kid with determination and a love for wheelchair basketball. I am a keen fisherman, sing like Elvis and I don’t let challenges slow me down.
