ABOUT Max Humphris
Supporting Max Humphris' Sprint Kayaking Journey
Max is a talented and driven 19-year-old sprint kayaker who continues to achieve outstanding results at club, state, national, and international levels. Through his dedication, discipline, and commitment to continuous improvement, he has established himself as one of Australia's promising young paddling athletes.
In 2026, Max proudly represented Australia as a member of the Australian U23 Canoe Sprint Team at the World Championships in Halifax, Canada. Competing against the world's best emerging paddlers, Max was selected in the U23 Men's K4 500m crew, with the team delivering a strong performance and progressing to the Semi Finals. Racing on the international stage provided invaluable experience and reinforced his potential to compete at the highest levels of the sport.
Following his World Championship campaign, Max remains focused on building toward future national team selections and international competition opportunities. His training and competition schedule includes ongoing Australian Championships, National Selection events, and development pathways aimed at future World Championships and senior Australian team representation.
Fundraising support plays a vital role in helping Max continue his sporting journey. Contributions assist with travel, accommodation, equipment, training, and competition expenses associated with competing at an elite level, both within Australia and internationally. Every contribution helps ensure Max can continue pursuing his goals while proudly representing his club, SA Sports Institute (SASI) and Australia.
Thank you for supporting Max's journey and helping him take the next steps toward achieving his sporting ambitions.
