I’m Daisy, long-time table tennis player overseeing a fund-raiser for our club Melbourne Veterans TTAs - now branded Central Melbourne Table Tennis. We hang out at MSAC in Albert Park our neighbourhood for 40+ years.

Central Melbourne Table Tennis has 100 members, a 60/40 ratio men to women, an improvement pathway which starts at beginner and steps through to social competition, while more experienced members play pennant, tournaments and go to the National Veterans Championships.

2025 has been a tough year for us all around, with fewer members and rising costs. Raising fees balanced the bank, then attendance declined. It’s a battle ground! To offset further disaster, our committee thought of a fund-raiser to

Maintain what we have;

Attract more members;

Create a uniform T-shirt to represent our community cohesion;

Extend our pathway to cater for further involvement in competition and social communities.

Two pledges have already been promised!
