Melroy, has been passionate about basketball since the age of 7. From the very beginning, he has challenged himself by always playing up an age group, often being the youngest on the court but never letting that hold him back.

Over the years, Melroy’s dedication has led to some incredible milestones:

• Gold medalist at the CBSQ Molten 3x3 Primary School Tournament (Year 5)
• Bronze medalist at U12 State Championship for U12 Spartans Division 1
• MVP of the U12 State Championship
• Bronze medalist representing Metropolitan East at the Boys 10-12 Years QRSS State Championship in Rockhampton
• Awarded “Angel of the Team” by his Metropolitan East coach for his dedication and commitment during the QRSS State Championship

This year, Melroy is proudly representing Logan Thunder U14 Division 1, a team that has had an extraordinary season. They went undefeated throughout the representative season and carried that legacy into the U14 State Championship in Townsville, bringing home the gold medal.

Now, Melroy and his team have earned the opportunity to compete at the U14 National Club Championship in Perth during the school holidays. This is an incredible chance for him to play at the highest level in his age group, test himself against the best in the country, and continue building his basketball journey.
