My name is Michael Smith, and I am a 15 year-old amateur boxer with a passion for representing my community and achieving success in the sport. I began martial arts at the age of 8, where my coaches recognised my dedication and potential. At 12, I transitioned to boxing at SouthCity/ Petersons gym Boxing Club and have since worked hard to develop my skills and gain valuable competition experience.

Through commitment and discipline, I have six fights on my card and proudly competed at state championship level, including travelling to Darwin to represent my club and WA. In 2026, I have been given the opportunity to travel to Brisbane as part of the Schoolboy Squad, a significant step in my boxing journey and development as an athlete.

I am raising funds to help cover training/travel and equipement expenses to compete at Eagles Complex, Brisbane for the Boxing WA Schools Boxing Squad 2026 July 8 to 11.
