In December 2022, my life changed dramatically when I suffered from a brain injury. Before my injury I was actively participating in pilates, yoga, bike riding and walking while looking after a 5 month old and a three year old. As a result of my injury I lost all ability to walk. With determination, patience, strength and motivation I have become stronger than I’ve ever been and completed my first Hyrox in December 2025. I came 1st in my neurological division.

I am raising funds so I can attend the Hyrox Championship in Sweden if I’m invited. I won’t find out till three weeks before however if I’m not invited I will use the funds to participate in Hyrox in my capital city again this year and put the rest into helping others with disabilities get involved in racing similar to Hyrox. The funds (if I’m invited) will go towards international flights, transportation, accommodation and competition registration. I will be so grateful for any donation big or small as this is a once in a lifetime opportunity and something I never dreamt of doing when I had to learn how to walk again just three years ago. I would love to represent people with neurological disorders and hidden disabilities on a global stage. I would also love to push myself physically and mentally again. There’s no words to describe how much this would mean to me.
