Hockey has been a huge part of my life for the past nine years. Growing up, I have always loved the challenge, teamwork and opportunities the sport has given me. From representing NSW and now Tasmania at a state level to wearing the green and gold on the international stage, every experience has motivated me to keep improving and strive for the next level.

I was fortunate to represent Australia in Europe last year, and this year I have been selected in both the Australian Under 18 Indoor Team and the Australian Under 18 Outdoor Futures Team. These opportunities are the result of years of hard work, early mornings, countless training sessions, and the support of my family, coaches, teammates and community.

Indoor hockey is a format I particularly enjoy. Its speed, intensity and skill continually challenge me to become a better player, and I thrive in that competitive environment. Every opportunity to represent Australia is both an honour and a chance to continue developing my game against some of the world's best young athletes.

While representing Australia is an incredible privilege, junior international tours are largely self-funded. The costs of travel, accommodation, tournament fees, uniforms and preparation are high, making community support an important part of my journey.

My goal is to continue progressing through Australia's high-performance pathway, earn future selections as I move into the Under 21 program, and ultimately achieve my dream of representing Australia at the Brisbane 2032 Olympic Games.
