ABOUT Miles Nicholas
Miles Nicholas Racing - Help a 16 year old Aussie finish his first national championship season
Miles Nicholas has gone from his first laps to racing in the Australian Superbike Championship in just 17 months.
Now, with only two rounds left in the 2026 season, he needs support to stay on the grid.
We’re raising $15,000 to get him to the finish line.
Why this matters
Most riders grow up racing.
Miles didn’t.
He started by volunteering as a track marshal, picking up crashed bikes and learning safety before he’d ever ridden one.
As a child, Miles also underwent major ear reconstruction surgery and re training his brain to use his left eye which he hasn’t since birth, dealing with balance, hearing and vision challenges. Motorsport would not be the obvious path.
But when he got on a bike in December 2024, everything changed.
Within five months he:
- Won his first race
- Set a lap record
Within nine months he:
- Won silver in NSW Bucket Championship
By February 2026, he was lining up at Phillip Island against some of the best riders in Australia in the national competition.
Where he is now
At just 16, Miles is competing in the ASBK Supersport 300 class as a privateer, fully funded by his family.
He is:
- Racing competitors aged 14 to 50
- Balancing his HSC with training and racing
- Training multiple nights a week with elite coaching
- Improving every single round
Recent progress:
- ASBK Phillip Island Rd1 : Qualified 30th, finished 20th in torrential rain
- ASBK Sydney Motorsport Park R2: Reduced lap times by 5 seconds in one round qualified and finished 23rd
He has already proven he belongs.
The reality
Motorcycle racing is brutally expensive.
Each ASBK round costs around $5,000, covering:
- Entry fees
- Tyres
- Fuel and parts
- Travel and accommodation
- Testing between rounds
With multiple rounds and development days still ahead, the financial pressure is real.
What your support does
This is where it becomes real.
- $50 helps cover fuel and consumables for a race session
- $250 contributes toward race tyres
- $850 covers a full race entry
- $1,500 supports a full race weekend
Every dollar goes directly into keeping Miles competitive and on track.
Why back Miles
Australia has a strong motorsport legacy. Riders like Casey Stoner and Jack Miller all started at this level.
Miles is at that same early stage.
But what stands out is not just his speed.
It’s:
- how quickly he has progressed
- the adversity he has already overcome
- the way he has earned respect from riders far more experienced
This is not just potential. It is momentum.
Our goal
We are raising $15,000 to:
- Complete the remaining ASBK rounds
- Support essential testing and development
- Cover unexpected repairs and setbacks
Any additional support goes toward building for the 2027 season.
Be part of the journey
Miles has already done the hard part.
He has proven he can compete at this level.
What happens next depends on whether he gets the support to stay there.
Every contribution matters.
Whether it is $10 or $10,000, you are helping a 16 year old continue something he has already worked incredibly hard to earn.
Back Miles. Be part of the journey. Help him finish what he started.
