Who we are

Nestled in the heart of Murrumbeena at Kangaroo Park, the Murrumbeena Football Netball Club (MFNC) has been a community cornerstone since 1918. We compete in the Southern Football Netball League across multiple divisions.

We aren’t just another suburban club. Over time we’ve grown into a large, inclusive sporting organisation:

• 4 men’s football teams
• 2 women’s football teams
• 5 women’s netball teams
• 1 men’s Under-19s squad and multiple junior pathways
• Proud participants in NAIDOC Round, Pride Round, ANZAC Day commemorations, and more
• A committed partnership raising funds for our local brain cancer charity

What sets us apart? Our thread is community. We treat players, supporters, volunteers and neighbours like family. Our decisions are guided by respect, inclusion, and connection.

In 2024, MFNC achieved a historic milestone — we became the only club in SFNL history to claim premierships across Seniors, Reserves, Opens and Under-19s.

In 2025, we will stand alone as the only club in SFNL fielding Women’s Football, Netball, Open Football, U19s and Senior Men’s Football all in Division 1.
