    ABOUT Murrumbidgee Rollerskating Club Inc

    East Wagga Wagga, NSW

Murrumbidgee Rollerskating Club is a non-profit community group in regional NSW, based in Wagga Wagga.

We are a newly formed club with the aim of creating a safe, inclusive, creative space and social hub for skaters of all ages and abilities. A place where they can develop their skills, be part of a supportive team, have access to quality coaching and the opportunity to participate in national competitions.

Recreational and Artistic Rollerskating has been an integral part of Wagga's history, providing fun, healthy and social activities over many generations - we want to continue this legacy in the Riverina.

Unfortunately, with the declining number of purpose-built rinks across NSW, skaters need to hire sports stadiums to train - availability is limited and the cost of hiring safe indoor spaces is costly.

Artistic Rollerskating is a self-funded sport, which means all costs are paid out-of-pocket - and being in regional NSW means regular trips to Sydney and Melbourne are needed.

To keep our sport accessible in our region, we are requesting donations that will go towards:

    • Club set-up and operational costs
    • Covering ongoing floor hire costs
    • Equipment involving technology and training supplies
    • Our skaters receiving Coaching development and training
    • Community events
    • Club Uniforms
    • Provision of skates for beginner classes.
    • Travel expenses to attend coaching seminars, training camps and competitions in Sydney/Melbourne
    • Future fund to ensure sustainability into the future
