ABOUT Mya Moke
Hello all, my name is Mya Moke. I am a proud QLDER, born in Cairns and raised in Logan, with Torres Strait, Māori, and Scottish heritage.
I am honored to be selected in the U18 Queensland South State Basketball Team for my final year of junior state representation. I will compete at the 2026 Australian Junior National Basketball Championships in North Brisbane from 12–19 April 2026, representing Queensland against the nation’s top junior athletes.
This prestigious tournament is a major milestone in my basketball journey and a valuable opportunity to compete at the highest national level. While it is especially meaningful to compete in my home state, participation requires a significant financial commitment. The total campaign cost is $4,840 (per player) covering accommodation, uniforms, transport, meals, and tournament fees. As the event is held locally, I am not eligible for travel-related funding.
I am seeking donations to help make this opportunity possible. Any support would directly assist my participation and contribute to the development of young female athletes and the future of women’s basketball.
