Firstly, thank you for taking the time to read this.

As you probably know, any kind of motorsport comes with a huge financial commitment — and motocross is no exception! I’m incredibly grateful for all the support I’ve received on my journey so far, and I wouldn’t be where I am without it.

I’m excited (and proud!) to share that I’ve been selected to represent Team Victoria at the MXGP in Darwin, thanks to my results in the first few rounds of the Peter Stevens Victorian Junior MX Championships. When I first told Mum and Dad, they said how proud they were of me and what an amazing achievement it was — but with the MX Aussie Titles being held in Adelaide the very next week, we thought it would simply be too expensive to make both happen.

But then people in our world said: “No way — we can make this happen! Let’s fundraise!” So that’s exactly what we’re doing.

We hadn’t originally planned to run a fundraiser like this — we thought we’d do raffles, sell chocolates, and run some coaching days (which we still plan to do). But so many people encouraged us to also set up a straight donation fundraiser, for those who simply want to help out, that we decided to go for it.

We’ve set up this fundraiser through the Australian Sports Foundation, which we thought was a great fit — and best of all, donations are tax-deductible (Mum tells me that’s a good thing, even though I don’t really know what it means!).

This fundraiser is to help cover the costs of getting to Darwin for the MXGP and then on to Adelaide for the Aussie Titles the following week.

We estimate the total cost for these two weeks will exceed $10,000, which includes things like flights for Dad and me, bike transport, accommodation, entry fees, bike setup, fuel, and gear.

Any support — no matter how big or small — is hugely appreciated. Thank you for helping me chase my dreams and represent Victoria on the national stage.
