    ABOUT Narrogin Hawks Football Club

    Narrogin, WA

The Narrogin sporting community is set for a major boost with plans to redevelop the clubrooms at Clayton Road Oval, creating a modern and inclusive facility for local football and cricket clubs.

The ambitious $4 million project will see the complete redevelopment of the existing clubhouse, originally built in 1978, which has become outdated and no longer meets the needs of the growing sporting community. The new facilities will provide an improved experience for players, supporters, and the wider community, ensuring the sustainability of local sports for generations to come.

Funding for the project will be sourced from multiple avenues, with the Narrogin Shire committing to contribute one-third of the total cost. In addition, an application has been submitted to the Community Sporting and Recreation Facilities Fund (CSRFF) to secure another third of the funding. The remaining third will be raised by the football and cricket clubs, with both clubs already making significant progress toward their fundraising goals.

The new clubrooms will feature modern amenities, enhanced spectator viewing areas, and upgraded changerooms, catering to both senior and junior teams. The project aims to enhance participation in local sports while fostering a stronger community connection.

The football and cricket clubs are calling on the community to get behind the project, with fundraising initiatives and sponsorship opportunities available for those who wish to support the redevelopment.
