    ABOUT Newcastle Cruising Yacht Club

    Newcastle Cruising Yacht Club is a community-focused sailing club committed to making sailing accessible, supporting participation at every level and helping our sailors achieve their potential.

    Through our fundraising projects, donations will support:

    • Upgrading sailing, training and safety equipment used across our club programs.
    • Delivering Frontline Sailing experiences for current and former Defence Force personnel, veterans, frontline workers and emergency service personnel.
    • Supporting NCYC members and teams selected to represent the Club at national and international competitions.

    Funds raised will help cover essential equipment, program delivery, training, entry fees, travel and other costs that can otherwise prevent people from participating or pursuing significant sailing opportunities.

    With the support of our members, partners and wider community, we can introduce more people to sailing, strengthen our programs and proudly support NCYC sailors competing on the national and international stage.
