Born and raised in the beautiful community of Newcastle, my dad had me on a board and in the water before I could even walk. Growing up in such a strong surfing environment surrounded by people like, Ryan Callinan, Morgan Cibilic, Mark Richards, Jacko Baker, and plenty more local heroes, it didn't take long before I knew exactly what I wanted to do.

Where am I at the moment?

As hard and upsetting as it was to leave our beautiful hometown and community, my family and I relocated to the far north coast of NSW at the end of last year. With my eyes set on the Olympics and a World Title, we decided as a family to make the move so I could train alongside some of Australia's most successful surfers at Surfing Australia's High Performance Centre. Here, I would have access to a surf specific gym, Olympic trampolines, some of the Worlds best surfing coaches and a whole lot more, with hopes that this would excel my surfing and training to prepare me for what's to come.

I am very lucky to be able to call surfing my career, it is my passion and what I hope to be, my future. As a junior surfer, travelling around to competitions, doing trips overseas and pretty much living out of a surfboard bag does indeed take a heavy financial toll on my family and I. So, I am trying to raise funds to help go toward travel expenses so I can continue to pursue my dream of becoming a World Champion and an Olympic Gold medallist.
