Onrii Dalgity is an Australian Ice Hockey player who started playing when he was 8. His dream has been to represent Australia, play semi-pro ice hockey in Australia, play ice hockey at a USA College and ultimately play professional Ice Hockey in Europe or USA. In his youth due to limited ice time in Australia, to support his hockey development, Onrii also undertook extensive off-ice training, played inline, PT and competed in elite tournaments throughout Australia and overseas including 3 years in the Hong Kong 5s and winning the first Gretzky Cup in China.

Onrii has already achieved many of his career goals including representing Queensland at Australian Nationals, representing Australia at World Championships in Serbia, playing in the Australian Junior Ice Hockey League (AJIHL) and playing 4 years Semi Pro for the Brisbane Lightning in the Australian Ice Hockey League (AIHL). He has also played 2 years in the USA, most recently Captaining his USPHL team the Atlanta Madhatters and competing at Nationals in New York.

Playing ice hockey at an elite level is extremely expensive with costs such as team fees, league registration, gear and equipment, medical and travel insurance, flights, transportation, food and accommodation in the USA and much more.
