ABOUT Paige Squire
Hi, thank you for your interest in my fundraising page.
I have created this page to help raise funds for my trip to Heusden-Zolder in Belgium for the 2026 UCI Junior Track World Championships.
The funds raised will help with the trip to Belgium along with the training camps in the lead up. All of the Juniors traveling to Belgium for Worlds are self-funded and your contribution will help make a difference to my experience as part of the Australian Team.
I have been racing for 11 years starting my journey at 8 years old in Orange and Bathurst in country New South Wales. I had the immense privilege to train under Marion Renshaw, learning skills and a love of racing while riding on the famous V8 race track of Mount Panorama.
I then moved back to South Australia where I am a member of Norwood Cycling club. I have trained with JKT, Kerran Oates - Physical Edge Cycling and James Glasspool. I have also been part of PMA Guestpix Cycling Team as a road rider and have had their support as I have moved to track Sprinting after finding success at 2024 U17 Junior Nationals with runner up Sprint Champion.
This season I have managed to achieve some fantastic results and PB's.
SA State Champs, Adelaide SA - Sprint Qual and Overall 2nd (PB), Time Trial 1st (PB)
Austral Track Race, Melbourne VIC- Sprint Qual 4th Overall 5th (PB), Keirin 4th
Oceania Champs, Cambridge New Zealand - Sprint Qual 2nd Overall 4th (PB), Time Trial 5th (PB), Keirin 7th, Team Sprint 2nd
National Champs, Brisbane QLD - Sprint Qual and Overall 1st (PB), Time Trial 4th (PB), Keirin 6th, Team Sprint 1st
Capping the season off with 2 National Titles in Individual and Team Sprint was a huge highlight but I have quickly shifted focus to Worlds and I'm eager to race against some of the other amazing athletes from across the world.
All of these result combined helped me to be selected for the Australian Team as one of the three young women going to Belgium for Sprinting. It has been a long term goal of mine to be selected for this team as it is one of the stepping stones I have in order to achieve greater goals like the Olympics. I hope that the experience helps me to improve and grow as an athlete and person to inspire young children to dream big and love their sports.
I can't wait to wear the Green and Gold to represent my country and I am so grateful to all of the people that have played a role and contributed in any way, big or small, to my journey. Thank you for your donation.
