Parker Thorburn, a 12-year-old from Townsville is a skilled touch football player selected to represent QLD in the School Sport Australia National Championships in Ballarat in October. To attend the prestigious event, Parker is actively fundraising, seeking support to cover costs associated with travel and participation. 

Parker currently attends Ignatius Park College, where he balances his academic responsibilities with his commitment to sports. He is an active member of the school's touch football, rugby league and Oztag team, contributing to their success in various regional and state tournaments. His natural athletic ability, combined with his hard work and sportsmanship, make him a standout player among his peers. While still young, Parker has shown a promising future in touch football, with aspirations to continue developing his skills and possibly compete at higher levels as he grows older. His dedication to both his studies and his athletic pursuits reflects his discipline and determination.
