Help Support Our U16 Boys Basketball Team – From Friends to Finalists

Hi, my name is Paula Oliver, and I’m the coach of a special group of young athletes — a U16 Division 5 boys independent basketball team that started as just a bunch of friends who wanted to shoot some hoops and have some fun. None of them had played team basketball before, but they had heart, hustle, and a love forget the game.

Fast forward a few months, and this incredible group just played their very first grand final — and came 2nd! The growth they’ve shown, both on and off the court, has been inspiring. Every week, they’re getting better — more focused, more skilled, and more connected as a team

As we head into the winter season, I’m reaching out to ask for your support. We’re trying to raise funds to hire a basketball court for one hour each week so I can continue to train and coach these boys. With no major club backing or big budgets, every dollar helps us keep their momentum going — and keeps them on the court, doing what they love.

Your donation will go directly toward court hire fees and will make a big difference in giving these young players the opportunity to grow, stay active, and stay part of something positive.
