Petra (21) is a passionate and hardworking Acrobatic Gymnast that has recently qualified onto the Australian Team to compete at the Senior World Championships in Italy, this September🌍

Petra has been training in the sport from the age of 4 and now dedicates over 20 hours each week to perfecting her skills. After facing many obstacles including over the last few years, Petra has achieved her ultimate goal of representing Australia at the 2026 World Championships.

As is often the case with non-Olympic sport in Australia, this journey is entirely self-funded. There is currently no financial assistance available through sporting or government bodies, leaving athletes and their families to carry the full cost of international competition.
