Phantoms Water Polo Club began in 1987 with a single men’s team formed by an enthusiastic group of players wanting to keep fit and enjoy playing this fantastic team sport. We are still going from strength to strength more than 35 years later!

The club now boasts 13 senior league teams participating in almost every grade in the State League, across both men and women’s competitions. The Junior Water Polo programme began in 2010 and has grown significantly across Phun Ball, Flippa Ball and junior teams competing in the Water Polo WA Junior State League. We also run an intra club senior social competition in the summer which has two leagues each with 4 teams.

Phantoms Water Polo Club enjoys an enviable reputation as a club that makes everyone welcome and values participation and enjoyment as much as winning. We are an inclusive club that promotes a lifetime of fun, fitness and friendship through water polo. The safe place that our members have created has encouraged the LGBTIQIA+ community to participate in water polo.
