Since discovering netball in 2024, Phoenix has been given opportunities he never thought possible. What began with filling in for his brother's social team quickly grew into a passion that has taken him across Australia and onto the international stage.

In 2025, Phoenix proudly represented Victoria at the School Sport Australia National Netball Championships in Queensland, where his team won gold, and he was honoured with All Australian selection. He also competed at the 2026 AMMNA National Championships in Perth and was subsequently selected in the Australian Under 17 Men's team.

Men's netball is one of the fastest growing sports in Australia, and Phoenix is proud to be part of a movement that is creating opportunities for males to pursue the sport they love. However, representative netball remains largely self-funded, with athletes and their families responsible for the costs associated with training, uniforms, entry fees, travel and accommodation.

General fundraising support helps Phoenix continue to develop as an athlete and pursue opportunities at state, national and international level. More importantly, it helps support the growth of men's netball and demonstrates that boys and young men belong in the game.
