    ABOUT Quinn Elliott

In 2025 I'm competing in the National Indoor Cricket Championships in Perth for the Tasmanian Under 18 team.

This will be my second appearance for Tasmania in the Under 18's having also competed in the 2024 National Championships in Melbourne. The cost of traveling to WA in 2025 means that I'm hoping to get extra support.

Cricket is in my blood, in addition to playing for Tasmania in the Nationals and Northern Tasmania in the State Titles, I also play 1st and 2nd Grade for Launceston Cricket Club in the Northern Tasmania Cricket Association and for Scotch Oakburn College in the SATIS competition, where I also captained the First XI in 2024/25 and have played in the school First XI since 2022. I'm also active in my cricket club, having coaching junior (Under 12) teams for two seasons and also running a 'Winter Wickets' program to introduce new players to the sport during the off-season for which I was awarded the Cricket Tasmania 'Youth Leader of the Year Award in 2022. I also captained the club 3rd Grade side in the 2023/24 season.

I'm partly funding my cricket by working as an AFL umpire and have umpired in the Tasmanian State League for three seasons. With the end of the TSL in 2025, I'm lining up to umpire in AFL Tasmania academy and representative games and in the Northern Tasmania Football Association games.

You can also support the team by visiting the Tasmanian Indoor Cricket Association fundraising page to donate.
