    ABOUT Reba Stewart

    Deer Park, VIC

As the reigning 2025 Australian Senior Kyorugi Athlete of the Year, Reba Stewart enters the 2026 season with exceptional momentum and a clear goal: standing on the podium at the 2028 Olympic Games.

A Tokyo 2020 Olympian, Reba has continued to establish herself as one of Australia's leading taekwondo athletes. Her recent results demonstrate both her consistency and world-class potential:

    • 🥇 Double Gold Medallist – President's Cup & Australian Open
    • 🥈 Silver Medallist – 2026 Canada Open
    • 🌟 2025 Australian Senior Kyorugi Athlete of the Year

From a shy 12-year-old beginner to an Olympian and internationally ranked athlete, Reba's journey has been defined by dedication, resilience, and a relentless pursuit of excellence.

    A Genuine Olympic Medal Prospect

Competing in the highly competitive +67kg heavyweight division, Reba possesses a rare combination of speed, agility, and power. She is emerging as one of Australia's strongest medal prospects in a category traditionally dominated by European and Asian nations.

To remain competitive on the world stage and earn the ranking points required for Olympic qualification, Reba must compete in 6–8 international World Taekwondo G-Ranked tournaments each year across Europe, Asia, and the Americas.

Unlike many professional sports, Australia's elite taekwondo athletes largely operate on a self-funded "pay-to-play" model, meaning athletes are responsible for covering much of the cost of international competition and high-performance preparation.

Your contribution will directly help fund the critical elements of Reba's Olympic campaign, including:

    • Airfares, accommodation, and travel expenses to attend World Taekwondo-sanctioned events.
    • Access to ranking tournaments essential for Olympic qualification.
    • Specialised allied health services and injury prevention services including extended strength and conditioning programs.
    • Maintenance and access to electronic scoring systems (Daedo/KP&P).
    • Training sensors and equipment that replicate international competition conditions.
    • Participation in world-class sparring camps and training environments, including opportunities in Korea and other leading taekwondo nations.
    • Exposure to diverse fighting styles and tactical development.

In 2026, Reba was selected to participate in the Aussie Athlete Fund $1 Million Challenge, an initiative designed to help Australia's elite athletes build the financial backing and professional support networks needed to succeed at the highest level.

Every contribution, regardless of size, helps remove financial barriers and allows Reba to focus on what matters most: training, competing, and representing Australia on the world stage.

By supporting Reba, you are investing in an athlete with a proven track record, unwavering determination, and genuine Olympic medal potential.

Together, we can help provide the opportunities, resources, and support needed to turn Olympic ambition into Olympic success.

Thank you for being part of Reba's journey to Los Angeles 2028.
