Hey there! I’m Riley Fitzsimmons, an elite athlete driven by the pursuit of excellence and the goal of Olympic glory.

Having competed in three Olympic Games and winning a silver medal in the K4 500 at the 2024 Paris Olympics, I’m now fully committed to my journey toward the LA 2028 Olympics. This next chapter is all about honing my skills, learning from past experiences, and pushing my limits for one last shot at gold. The thrill of competition fuels my determination to train harder and smarter every day, and I’m focused on bringing everything together for this pivotal moment.

In addition to my athletic pursuits, I’m a qualified carpenter passionate about creating and building. Whether crafting custom furniture or tackling home renovations, I bring the same dedication and precision to my carpentry work that I apply in my training. I’m also studying for my builder’s license to deepen my knowledge and skills in the construction field.

Balancing the demands of elite sport with a career in carpentry is a challenge I embrace, and I thrive on the variety it brings to my life. By staying disciplined and organised, I’m committed to maximising my potential in both areas.
