From regional grassroots swimming to the Australian Trials — this is what dreams are made of.

This year, two of our Fraser Coast swimmers have achieved something truly special. Zac has qualified in the 50m Breaststroke, and Riley in the 50m Backstroke for the Australian Swimming Trials in Sydney this June.

For both boys, this will be their first opportunity to step onto the blocks at the open level, racing against Australia’s fastest swimmers in an environment where only the top 1% of athletes compete.

Coming from a small regional club, opportunities like this take enormous dedication, hard work, and support from the community around them.
