Since 1896 Royal Freshwater Bay Yacht Club has fostered excellence in sailing, boating and community participation, providing opportunities for people of all ages and abilities to learn, compete and enjoy the sport.

RFBYC is home to nationally and internationally recognised sailors, while also supporting grassroots programs introducing children, families and newcomers to sailing. Through its junior development, training and racing programs, the Club is committed to growing participation in the sport and helping the next generation of sailors develop skills, confidence and a lifelong love of the water.

Funds raised through the Australian Sports Foundation will help support sailing development, youth programs, training initiatives, sailing excellence (including Olympic and World sailors) and facilities that enable more people to participate in sailing and enjoy the benefits of an active, connected sporting community.
