Our Story

Rockingham Rugby Union Football Club is more than a sports club – it is a community built on connection, opportunity and belonging.

For decades our club has provided a place where people of all ages, backgrounds and abilities can come together through the game of rugby. We believe sport is one of the most powerful tools for building healthier individuals, stronger communities and brighter futures for young people.

Through rugby we help young people develop confidence, discipline, teamwork and resilience. These skills extend far beyond the field and help shape future leaders within our community.

Our club is committed to ensuring rugby is accessible and welcoming to everyone. We actively support participation across all backgrounds including young people, women, culturally diverse communities, neurodiverse individuals and members of the LGBTQIA+ community.

We are raising funds to support:

• Junior rugby development programs

• Equipment and safety resources for players

• Inclusion and participation initiatives

• Community engagement events

• Programs that support wellbeing, mentorship and positive social connection
