Help Rylan get to the Australian Gymnastics Championships

We are raising money to help Rylan with uniform, flights & accomodation.  He has made the Victorian state team and will compete on the Gold Coast in July.

Rylan has been a gymnast since he was 5 years old, dedicating countless hours each week to be the best he can be! He currently trains around 22 hour per week.Rylan was lucky enough to represent Victoria and compete at the Gymnastics Australia Chmapionships on the Gold Coast in 2022 and 2023. After his 2023 Nationals we found out he had 2 pars fractures in his back, that will never heal.. It’s been a long 2 years of strength building and physio and he hasn’t been able to compete since then. Rylan was looking on track at the end of last year and was preparing for his return for this years comp season which started in February, but unfortunately he re aggrevated his back injury and he was on limited hours and training.. he wasn’t able to compete in his comps, due to not being able to train and the back not improving.. he missed the first 4 comps, which then left trial 1 and 2 to qualify for Nationals and the Victorian Championships. Rylan was still not physically able to compete at Trial 1, so it meant he had just Trial 2 to qualify for Nationals and the Vic Champs. He managed to compete at Trial 2, but had to put out basic routines due to being under prepared.. with the basic routines, he qualified on P Bars for Nationals.. he then had the Victorian championships 2 weeks ago, which was his last shot.. he went into this comp with his back still sore and he pulled a muscle in his shoulder a few days before. During warm up the Victorian Championsips Rylan injured both his knee and his ankles! Everything was stacked against him mentally and physically. He managed to still compete over the 2 days and qualified on his other apparatus (high bar and floor) He is in weekly physio sessions now and last weekend they announced the State Teams and Ryan made it!! He is now set to compete on the Gold Coast the first week of July. He will be representing Victoria in level 9 under 18s A huge achievement considering the past 2 years and more so the last 3-4 months he had. So with short notice (just over4 weeks) Rylan is raising funds to help send him to Nationals.He needs to purchase his state uniform (which is just over $600), his flights and accommodation. He would be so very grateful for any support.
